Diagnóstico de producciones asociadas en áreas de producción de café de alta calidad

Abstract
The work was carried out during September 2015-April 2016 months in the coffee areas of La Pimienta, Los Lazos, La Tabla, La Puya, Palenque, Jengibre, Monjará, San Lorenzo, La Maestra, Las Manuelas, Arroyón, Las Bocas and Los Lajiales, corresponding to the Agro-Forestry Enterprise Tercer Frente. With the objective of diagnosing the productions in associated coffee areas of high quality. 548.1 ha of producers were selected that gather conditions to produce coffee of superior quality in whose plantations are associated to vegetable cultivations and fruit-bearing. A diagnosis with the objective of gathering information on the production volumes that are obtained of the associated cultivations were carried out and were compared with the main production. For the abridgment of the information one worked in coordination with the extensions person corresponding to each area. During the diagnosis execution exchanges with the producers directed to the management of the cultivations associated to the coffee were carried out, with the interest of knowing the advantages and disadvantages of their combined production. The bigger production volumes associated of vegetables were obtained in the cultivations of the banana fruit and banana donkey with 278.5 t and a yield of 0.50 t/ha. The producers that reported the highest values this vegetables production were those of Palenque. The highest volumes in production of fruit-bearing as cultivation associate were obtained in La Tabla area and in the cultivation of the mango with 69.6 t and a yield of 0.12 t/ha.
