Integración de acciones Investigación + Desarrollo en diez UBPC del municipio de Baracoa, provincia de Guantánamo

Abstract
With the objective of exposing the results of actions of integration Investigation + Develop carried out by the Estación Experimental Agro-Forestal of Baracoa in ten UBPC of this municipality, in the Guantánamo province and to contribute to the introduction of nice agricultural practices that drive to the productive increment and the improvement of the cocoa quality starting from the elevation of the knowledge of the producers, different training actions were developed in the mark of the project managerial: “Recovery, development and improvement of the cocoa agro ecological production in the Baracoa municipality”, executed in the period 2013-2017. Resulting technologies of investigations were used carried out in the Estación Experimental Agro-Forestal of Baracoa, related with the propagation of the cocoa, establishment and management of plantations, management of the soil, the integrated management of plagues, as well as the cocoa harvest. As a result 580 training actions were developed, in those that participated 231 producers of the 10 basic units of production (10045 total participants) and 15 integral technicians of mountain (extensionist). To evaluate the impact of the actions developed in the productive results and of quality of the humid cocoa it were compared for each one the data averages of these indicators in the three previous years and their behavior during the evaluated period. The results showed a growth average of 0.13 t/ha of humid cocoa, and that when concluding the project 70 % of the UBPC sold all the cocoa of first quality, while previously made it alone 40 %.
