Main Article Content
Abstract
The work was developed in the period 2016-2018 in the CPA 16 of April, located in Baracoa municipality, Guantánamo province, with the objective to do an evaluation of factors that restrict the performance of cocoa crop to model the strategy to ranking, attend and extenuate the more important. The research was derived of the project “Contribution to the endogenous development, under agro ecologies bases, of six’s units of production of cacao trees of Baracoa municipality”, developed in the Estación Experimental Agro-Forestal Baracoa. On a sheet in calculus of Microsoft Office Excel 2007 an artwork was concocted that showed the tendency in this productive indicator in the last 4 years. To accomplish the objective the methodology of Active Rural Diagnosis was applied, with which the present problems on the productive entity were identified. To determining the restricting factors (more important) the Vester Matrix, with which these factors were classified. The matrix exhibited that the deplorable physiologic state, the deficient management and high depopulation of the plantations, as the less quality on the realization of the harvest and the insufficient management of workers, are the problems with major proportion of causality, they have big incidence in the performances of cocoa crop in the cooperative, by the point, they constitute the more restricting factors.
