Damharvests (version 8.0). System for the automated control of the coffee (Coffea) and of the cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.)

Abstract
The cultivation of the coffee (Coffea sp. L.) and of the cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) it is priority in several enterprise of the Ministry of the Agriculture in Cuba for their economic and nutritious importance, however, 60 % of them controls these semi-automated way productions, to have had to do without of obsolete systems programmed on MS-DOS; what generates slowness and frequent errors in the reception of the primary information and in the emission of reports related with the march of the crops. The solution to this problem contributes it from 2004 year the system DAMCosecha that is property from the Agricultural Enterprise Ataque a Bueycito according to certificate of the facultative legal deposit of protected works (Register 2227-2005) from the version 1.0. For the campaign coffee-cocoa 2013-2014 the version 8.0 of the product was rushed that it improved the programming way, the security of their data bases and their versatility; product of having been adapted to the atmosphere of the system Microsoft Access 2010. Now can export and to care information in different formats among the Suite Microsoft Office and DAMCosecha, including the valuable extension PDF. This allows that the product covers even more the informative necessities and of control on these important productions. The application saves around 16 000 pesos to the developing Enterprise of the system and it could contribute unitary revenues in the order of the 8000 pesos for concept of sales of the computer product. The Manual of User of the system was perfected as much in Spanish as in English language.
