Practical experience of the university-company link in the municipality of San Luis
Main Article Content
Abstract
The problematic situation addressed in this work lies in the disconnection between the university and the company in the municipality of San Luis, specifically in the agricultural sector, which limits the sustainable development of the territory. The objective was to strengthen the University-Company link through an action plan that would integrate academic training with local productive needs, promoting research, innovation and the application of scientific knowledge in the solution of real problems. Theoretical and empirical methods were used, such as documentary review, observation of productive processes, discussions with key actors and historical-logical analysis, to diagnose and propose improvements in the articulation between the Municipal University Center (CUM) and the Agroforestry Company. The main results included the implementation of research projects and theses that addressed local problems, the training of producers and managers, and the integration of students in work practices linked to agricultural production. Greater cohesion was achieved between teachers, students and producers, strengthening the comprehensive training of professionals and their impact on local development. The conclusions highlight that the University-Business link is essential for sustainable development, aligned with national objectives and the 2030 Agenda. The collaboration between the CUM and the Agroforestry Company has allowed progress in the substitution of imports, the export of results and the application of technologies adapted to local realities, consolidating an effective synergy between academia, business and public policies.
