Respuesta de variedades de Coffea arabica L. a la aplicación de FitoMas-E en dos suelos cubanos1

Abstract
The need to find ways to improve the efficiency of use of mineral fertilizers as well as the implementation of more environmentally friendly technologies of the ecosystem and natural resources, has promoted the use of the phyto-stimulants. In the cultivation of coffee there were few antecedents of the effect of the FitoMas-E by what we studied the effect of the bioproduct in growth indicators of seedlings of Coffea arabica L. varieties. The experiments were developed in the Estación Experimental Agro-Forestal nursery of Tercer Frente, Santiago de Cuba province and Jibacoa, Villa Clara province, in polyethylene bags and under shadow of mesh saran. For the one filled of the bags in nursery bags were used mixture of 3/1 Brown soil without carbonates or Fersialitic Brown reddish/compost. Were evaluated the height, the diameter of the stem, the leaf area, the dry mass and the quality index of the seedlings. All the varieties responded to the FitoMas-E but the response depended of the type of soil. Increase of leaf area in Brown soil, was greater in all varieties (with the exception of the Caturra rojo) to that observed in the reddish Fersialitic Brown soil. Regarding the increase in leaf area, due to the FitoMas-E varieties were in the order Caturra rojo > Isla 5-3 > Isla 6-11 = Catuai amarillo > Laferno while in the Brown soil were thus Isla 6-1 > Catuai amarillo > Isla 5-3 > Laferno > Caturra rojo.
