Efecto de concentraciones de IHPLUS en el crecimiento posturas de cacao y su eficiencia de utilización de nutrientes
Main Article Content
Abstract
To establish the effect of concentrations of the IHPLUS bioproduct on the growth and absorption of macronutrients by cocoa seedlings, experiments were carried out at the Estación Experimental Agro-Forestal de Tercer Frente, Santiago de Cuba province during the years 2015 to 2017. For the substrata conformation was used a Brown sialitic soil mixed in a 3: 1 ratio with cattle manure. In a randomized block design 7 concentrations of IHPLUS were studied: 0; 0,5; 1; 1,5; 2; 2,5 and 3 %. The bioproduct was applied to the seedlings from the first to the fifth leaf. Upon reaching the seedlings, the seventh leaf on 10 of the 35 plants of each treatment evaluated the height, the leaf area, the dry mass, the absorption of N, P and K thus the efficiency of its use. The data were adjusted to mathematical functions and the one with the highest adjustment was selected according to the coefficient of determination. The application of IHPLUS significantly increased the growth of cocoa seedlings. Concentrations that ranged between 1,79 and 2,03 % led to the largest significant increases in the leaf area with respect to the control without application. The highest absorption values of N were achieved with the application of the 0,5 % bioproduct, while those of phosphorus and potassium with the concentration of 1,5 %. IHPLUS increased the efficiency of nutrient utilization by cocoa seedlings in the order of phosphorus ˃ nitrogen ˃ potassium.
