Reached results with the agrarian extension system application in the CPA Carlos Manuel de Céspedes

Abstract
The study was carried out during the period of January 2010 to December 2012 in the Coffee CPA Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, Tercer Frente municipality, Santiago de Cuba province, where an appropriate interaction was promoted for the innovation among the actors interested in the sustainable coffee-culture development.These actions were carried out by means of the advice, training and technical attendance, framed in the application of the System of Agrarian Extension. It was achieved a better linking, motivation and understanding of the producers in the adoption of technologies and diagnosis studies, what propitiated the increment of the yields of the brown.That CPA has 928,26 ha of which 672.65 ha correspond to the Coffea canephora cultivation and it has 110 producing of them 95 they are devoted to the coffee cultivation. As a result of the implementation of appropriate technologies and the increment of the technical knowledge of the producers the yield in t/ha was increasing gradually from the 0.30 t/ha in the 2010 year until also reaching the 0.38 t/ha in the 2012 year. Facilitated the creation of 4 demonstrative parcels whose yields averages increased with relationship to the crop (2009-2010) in 0.22 t/ha. 3 reference areas represented in 19 settled down there is of brown ´Robusta´ showing increases in the yields of 0.16 t/ha like increment average and it was achieved that 2 properties with a total area of 9 have of Robust coffee they reached the condition of sustainable, those that reported an increment average from their equivalent yields to 0.13 t/ha with relationship to the initial crop, respectively.
