Agrochemical characterization of the coffee soils of Sopapo-Cuatro Vientos zone of the mountainous clump Guamuhaya
Main Article Content
Abstract
The work was carried out for Estación Experimental Agroforestal UCTB Jibacoa, county of Villa Clara, with the objective of characterizing agro-chemicaly the soil dedicated to the coffee from Sopapo a Cuatro Vientos, in the mountainous clump Guamuhaya, between 700 and 800 meters above sea level. Were sampled 128 fields, to a depth of 0-20 cm and their pH, and contained P2O5, K2O and MO (%) were determined, obtaining the half values and the variation range for each one of these indexes’s. It was appreciated the low contains of, P2O5 and K2O in general sense as well as a sour acid pH, that which allowed to conclude that these soils are poor in these nutrients and that its influence about the productivity of the coffee depends mainly on other qualities like the physical conditions.
